I recently found a love that has changed my whole life. Just when I was about to give up on love and thought that there was no right person out there for me my knight in shining armor walked into my life and I have not regretted my decision to love again.

What's Happening?

Hey Everyone! I know I haven't posted anything in a little while and I'm sorry about that. I have been a little bit busy in my personal life.

I have a goal that I wanted to share with you. For 2010 and beyond I am striving to live a healthier and happier life. Therefore, I have started eating right and doing the necessary exercising mainly by walking. My social life has also improved as I am now less anti-social. I am loving the new healthier and happier me and I just thought I should share that with you guys!

Once again thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts on all of my interests!

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

"I blew it!" Come to think of it, we've all blown it! We don't measure up. We're not divine. We might be decent, but decent won't save us. Only the divine, the truly righteous, make it past the grave and into glory. Thank God grace is freely given and the price for our sin was paid by Jesus. While I "blew it," he renewed it!

My Prayer...

Kind and Loving Father, thank you for being so generous with your grace. May I be as passionate for your righteousness as you were in redeeming me from my sin. Through Jesus I ask this. Amen.

Jabar feat. Soulja Boy “DAZE” Music Video

When I first listened to this song way before the video I was a bit unimpressed but then after listening to it a few times it kind of grew on me. I personally think Jabar is a cutie and he has my support.

'Designing Women' Star Dixie Carter Dies

(CNN) -- Actress Dixie Carter, best known for her role as Julia Sugarbaker on the TV show "Designing Women," has died, her agent said Saturday. She was 70.

No other details were provided.

Carter was drawn to roles portraying steely Southern women. One of her more recent roles included a guest appearance on the show "Desperate Housewives," for which she was nominated for an Emmy in 2007.

"This has been a terrible blow to our family," her husband, the actor Hal Holbrook, told "Entertainment Tonight." "We would appreciate everyone understanding that this is a private family tragedy."

In addition to Holbrook, to whom she has been married since 1984, Carter is survived by two daughters, Mary Dixie and Ginna.

As per Trey Songz's manager Kevin Liles, not only will Trey be releasing his next album on 14 September 2010 but he will also be a co-star on a BET reality show alongside Young Jeezy to air on June 27th, right before the BET awards.

Trey Songz is such a beautiful creature. Words just cannot describe his sexiness. Not only is he sexy but he has a voice to match, a great combination!

Trey's recent music videos, his performance with Toni Braxton on the Soul Train Awards & his hot magazine photo shoots still have me wondering..... Let us not even go there!

I look forward to seeing another side of Trey on his upcoming reality show, are you?

Word on the streets is that TOP BITCH Ego’s have kicked in from both Rihanna and Nicki Minaj’s camp surrounding this “Last Girl on Earth” concert tour drama.

According to media sources:

An insider explained: “No one [in Rihanna's camp] is panicking yet, but there is DEEP concern that Rihanna has peaked, and is on the downside of her music career. Nicki [Minaj] was brought in to sell tickets, but Rihanna did NOT want her on.”

Someone close to Young Money allegedly said: “Nicki is not an opening act, and we would never put her out there like that.”

Something told us that Rihanna + Nicki Minaj + Concert Tour = Bad Idea.

Who deserves to the the opener versus the closer of this one?

When Nicki first tweeted that she was going on tour with Rihanna I was like huh? It just didn't make any sense to me. I'd still like to know whose bright idea it was in the first place! Then reading that Nicki was brought on to sell tickets but Ri-Ri didn't want her on. As TheRunDown states.... Rihanna + Nicki Minaj + Concert Tour = Bad Idea!

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

Jesus did not die for us because he had some high hopes for who we are or what we would be. No, he died for us because he knew exactly who we are and what we would be without him. Praise be to God; we are now God's righteousness because Jesus took our sin upon himself and gave us God's grace and righteousness in its place (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

My Prayer...

Holy God, thank you for Jesus, my Savior. No words are adequate to express my love and devotion to you for such an incredible gift! Through him I give and live my thanks to you. Amen.

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

Jesus didn't just die for my sins; he lives for me. In fact, he is at God's right hand claiming me as his own (see 1 John 2:1-2). If he was willing to die to save me, what will he withhold now that he lives victorious over death?

My Prayer...

Holy and Righteous Father, I thank you for Jesus who is at your side and who knows my heart, my struggles, and my world. I thank you for your constant care and protection through all of my difficulties and triumphs. Please make your presence known more clearly today than ever before as I try to serve you with wholehearted devotion. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Tiger Woods.....

I was trying to stay away from the Tiger Woods topic but after reading an article on a website, I just can't help it.

The article indicated that Tiger Woods would like to renew his wedding vows....... I'm still waiting for someone to tell me this is a joke.

First of all, I have not been a "Tiger Woods" fanatic because he claims that he is not black. How much darker does your skin have to be Tiger?

Second, I agree with Elin Nordegren for not divorcing him because I would have done the same. The man is worth mucho dinero afterall!

Third, I just knew this man was too perfect to be true and I was so right!

Anyway, I think Tiger should not even make jokes like that and concentrate on making some more mula (money) in the upcoming tournament instead.

I will not even comment on the number of ladies he's been with and maybe those we don't know about.

Monica & Rocko No More?

Two weeks ago, Monica revealed on Twitter that she and Atlanta rapper Rocko, her fiancée of five years, had broken up. While prepping the release of her fifth album, Still Standing, Monica opened up to VIBE recently about the break-up and why she used Twitter as her medium.

The following series of messages posted to her account, @Monicamylife, on March 11:

“Thank you everyone for all the love your sending. @Rocko4Real is a great father and we will continue to love and parent our children . The rest is a private matter between @Rocko4Real and I. He is a good person. We all make mistakes. Even seperated we will always be family…”

The couple had been together off and on for 10 years and have two sons together.

“I chose Twitter as a forum to say what I felt at that time because there was no other way for me to say it once,” Monica told VIBE. “Had I been on radio, had I been interviewed, it would’ve been over and over again. That was just a quick way to say, ‘I know what’s taking place on the Web sites. I want you to know that I’m okay.’ But it really is a private matter. You just lose the privacy once you become an artist. So I’m not upset about it in any way.”

Prior to the announcement, rumors floated that Rocko had been cheating on the singer, 29, who said she was aware of all the hearsay and felt confused with what was happening.

“It was a situation I didn’t ask to be in, so to speak. Once something is put up on a Web site and things about your personal life are spread all around, it’s unfortunate,” said Monica. “I don’t even know specifically who they spoke to, but I do know that I never felt so… I guess the word would be confused more than anything else. If you go to sleep and you wake up and you see something for the first time, it’s a little scary, you know. I’m too grown now to go investigating leads. The reality is that I have to play my position as their mom and do what it is that’s best for me.”

My thoughts on this? After watching Monica's show I just could not understand their relationship. It seemed to me like they were together mainly because of their kids. To be on and off with someone for ten years? Oh My God! Like seriously Monica. And then to be engaged for five years? Do you see the signs? Cause I clearly see the (permanent) EXIT door, why don't you?

I have always loved Monica because not only is she a great singer but she is a very humble person and I think she deserves the best. Sorry Mon but Rocko does not cut it. Apart from your two beautiful sons, that's about it. Let go and let God!

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

Last? Nobody likes to be last. We have a hard enough time settling for second place, much less last place. Jesus reverses the rank. The person who is most important to him is not the person seeking the status and notoriety. The most important person is like Jesus himself: willing to give up rank and status and importance to serve. For Jesus, last means first in service and first in the eyes of God.

My Prayer...

Magnificent God my Savior, you have made the world wonderful for me and have given your Son to redeem me. How can I ever thank you or repay you for your grace and kindness? Help me serve others with grace and kindness. Give me eyes to see people as you do; not judging by mere appearances, but valuing, serving, and treating people as Jesus does. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, the one who washed his disciples' feet. Amen.

Royal Pains

Royal Pains is the only series apart from The Starter Wife that I love on USA Network.

Not only is Hank (the doctor) a hunk but so is his brother! Even though his brother talks a lot and acts a little funny and is most times a failure these brothers continue to work together for the satisfaction of their patents.

Not to mention the doctor's assistant is a hott indian girl (no homo) lol

I love each episode and I could watch them over and over again!

I am definitely looking forward to the next season :-)

Jay's "The Blind Side" Review

I had no intentions of watching this movie because I had no idea what it was about until my friend, Sheldon gave me an idea of the story. I love movies based on true stories. I must admit that I did not regret seeing this movie and I highly doubt you would either.

I laughed at some parts and cried at most. This movie is VERY touching and it is definitely a go see. If you haven't seen it then I won't ruin it for you. I rate this movie 10/10!!!

Congratulations Are In Order...Times Two!

So it's official! Not only is Keyshia Cole going to be a mom, she's also going to be a wife!

Keyshia is engaged to Cleveland Cavaliers player, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson who is also the father of her unborn child.

I have never seen her glow as much as I have since these two got together. I wish them all the best and I pray that everything works out for the better for them.
